Teun Nevels

Master Student

Teun obtained his BSc degree at the Eindhoven University of Technology in Chemical Engineering in 2018. His bachelor end project was on the subject 'Two Resonance Tapping Cavity for Thin Film Solar Cells' in the group of Prof. R.A.J. Janssen. In 2018 he started his master program 'Molecular Systems & Materials Chemistry' at the Eindhoven University of Technology. Currently, he is working on his graduation project in the group of Prof. R.A.J. Janssen on the subject 'Triplet-Polaron Quenching in Organic Semiconductor Host-Guest Systems, under the supervision of Prof. R. Coehoorn. Triplet-polaron quenching is one process that plays an important role in the efficiency loss of organic LEDs, particularly at high luminance levels. By understanding the mechanism of this process, better understanding of this process can be achieved which may eventually be employed to improve the efficiency of OLEDs.
