Roozbeh received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 2018 from Babol Noshirvani University of Technology in Babol, Iran. During his bachelor’s studies, Roozbeh worked on implementing plasmonic nanoparticles in perovskite solar cells.

After graduation, he decided to continue his studies in the hub for organic semiconductors in Europe, Dresden, Germany. He worked on novel approaches to grow crystalline rubrene thin films at the Institute of Applied Physics and Photonics (IAPP) at the Technical University of Dresden. He obtained his M.Sc. in Organic and Molecular Electronics in 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Karl Leo.

Currently, Roozbeh is a PhD candidate in the M2N research group under the supervision of Prof. René Janssen and Dr. Martijn Wienk, focusing on analyzing the dynamics of ions in perovskite solar cells.
