After obtaining a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry in 2012, I’ve received my MSc degree in Chemical Engineering, specialization Molecular Engineering, from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2014. The graduation project of this master was done within the M2N group, under supervision of dr. Serkan Esiner, on photoelectrochemical water splitting with earth-abundant materials and the fabrication of an artificial leaf. During my master’s program, I’ve performed a four month industrial internship within Holst Center/Solliance working on the inkjet printing of tandem organic solar cells.

From July 2014 on, I am a PhD student working on the morphology and energy levels of organic semiconductors. Examples of projects are singlet fission in pentacene solar cells, all-evaporated solar cells and studies of HOMO levels.
