In 2020, I received my BSc degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies from the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy. My Bachelor’s end project was carried out at the Mib-Solar center under the supervision of Prof. Simona Binetti and it focused on the use of inorganic, earth-abundant chalcogenide inks for photovoltaic applications.

I then continued my studies at the University of Milano-Bicocca, obtaining my MSc degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies in 2022. During my MSc studies I specialized in materials chemistry and I decided to join the Erasmus+ project. My thesis was carried out in the Molecular Materials and Nanosystems (M2N) research group at the Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands. Here, under the supervision of Ir. Alessandro Caiazzo and Prof. René Janssen I worked on the optimization of 2D perovskites thin-films for wide-bandgap solar cells.

In 2023, I joined the M2N research group as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof. René Janssen and Dr. Martijn Wienk. My current project is now focusing on the development of wide-bandgap solar cells for multi-junction applications.
