In 2019, I received my bachelor degree in Chemistry at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena in Germany. I first came to Eindhoven for an Erasmus semester and decided to continue my studies here in the "Molecular Systems and Materials Chemistry" master. During my bachelor, i worked as a research assistant in the field of (non-linear) optics which lead me to the M2N research group.

The goal of my master project, supervised by Stefan Meskers, is to investigate polariton-polariton interactions in polar crystals of organic dye molecules. It gives me the opportunity to gain a deeper insight into the theory behind light and matter interactions such as polaritons and to gains experimental experience in organic synthesis, crystallization methods and spectroscopic measurements.
