I joined the M2N group in September 2016, to pursue my PhD degree. My PhD project is a part of the Shell-NWO Computational Sciences in Energy Research (CSER) PhD program and is focused on studying thermal transport in nanowires, for the application in thermoelectrics. We are trying to gain insight in to the process of heat transport in semiconductor nanowires using various computational methods. Before moving to the Netherlands, I completed my Master’s degree at Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, India. During my Masters, I worked on modeling the chemical transformations happening inside a cavitating bubble, with the aim of identifying the conditions which maximized the production of oxidizing radicals.
