Master Student

In 2021, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Utrecht University. I performed my bachelor thesis at the Dutch Institute for Fundamental Energy Research (DIFFER) under Dr. M. Tsampas and Dr. G. Zafeiropoulos. Here, I worked on porous artificial leaves, which are capable of directly converting water into hydrogen gas using sunlight.

To continue working on renewable energy storage, I decided to perform my master thesis at the M2N group where I will be developing high-performance organic anolytes in nonaqueous redox flow batteries under Nicolas Daub and Prof. dr. ir. Rene Janssen.  The combination of organic synthesis and electrochemical analysis is very intriguing, and I hope I can produce promising new molecules to make a more sustainable world.
